What is it?
Times Tables helps children learn multiplication the way they chant it in class: pick any Table from 1 to 20, read it up to ×10, ×12 or ×20, and press 🔊 Read it aloud. Then quiz yourself on chosen tables; tricky facts come back more often.
Who is it for?
Children in Classes 2–6 learning tables, parents helping them memorise, and older students brushing up mental maths.
How to use it
- Pick a Table and read or listen to it (Stop to pause).
- Choose the tables to practise, then press Start and tap Start the quiz.
- See your score and Play again.
Learning order
Start with 2, 5 and 10, then 3, 4 and 11. Many facts repeat: if you know 3 × 7, you know 7 × 3. The hard ones are usually 6 × 7, 7 × 8 and 8 × 9; practise those extra.
For parents and teachers
Short sessions work best: 5–10 minutes a day, then something active. Sit with young children, say the answers aloud together, and praise effort, not just right answers. Everything runs on the device with no sign-up, no chat and no data collected about your child.
Errors and how to fix them
- No sound when tapping 🔊: turn up the volume, switch off silent mode (on iPhone, the side switch), and check the browser tab isn’t muted. Sounds use your device’s built-in voices.
- Same question keeps coming: that’s by design for facts you got wrong; answer correctly a few times and it appears less.
