Time Zone Converter: Meeting Times Across Cities and Daylight Saving

What is it?

The Time Zone Converter shows one time in every city on your list, with daylight saving handled for that date.

Who is it for?

People with family abroad, remote workers and freelancers with foreign clients, travellers, and anyone scheduling online meetings across countries.

How to use it

  1. Pick the Date and time and the zone it is In time zone.
  2. Use Add a place to add cities; ✕ removes one. Your list is remembered on this device.
  3. Read the time in each city, with the date if it falls on another day.

Daylight saving

  • India (IST, UTC+5:30) has no daylight saving, but the USA, UK, Europe and parts of Australia change clocks twice a year, on different dates.
  • So the gap between Delhi and London is 5½ hours in winter and 4½ in summer. Always pick the actual meeting date; the tool applies the right rule for it.

Planning calls

  • India and the US East Coast: early morning in the US is evening in India (about 9:30 or 10:30 hours ahead of New York).
  • Gulf countries (UAE, Oman) are 1½ hours behind India; Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait 2½ hours behind.
  • When sending an invite, write the time with the zone (“7 pm IST”), or use a calendar invite, which converts for each person.

Errors and how to fix them

  • “Pick a date and time”: the date box is empty.
  • One hour off: the meeting date crosses a daylight-saving change; set the actual date.
  • City not found: search by a nearby big city in the same time zone.
