After your group is live on ShareYourGroup, a few habits bring more members: sharing the card, bumping it regularly, and keeping the WhatsApp details fresh.
Share your card
- Tap the share button on your card and pick WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook or Instagram. The message reads “Join … on ShareYourGroup 👇” with your link.
- On computers without a share menu, the link is copied: you’ll see Link copied ✓, or Press Ctrl+C / long-press to copy if the browser blocks copying.
- Post it on your WhatsApp status and in your Instagram bio, not in unrelated groups (spamming groups can get your number banned).
Bump to the top
Submit the same link again to move your card back to the top: once every 24 hours. Bumping sooner simply shows that it’s already listed. Bumping at the times your audience is online (evenings for most groups) gets more joins.
Change the name, photo or description
- The name and photo come from WhatsApp and update automatically after you change them there.
- For a different category or description, reset the invite link and submit the new one with the new details.
Remove your listing
Reset the invite link in WhatsApp (group name → Invite via link → Reset link). The old link stops working and the listing is removed at the next check. Submit the new link only if you want to be listed again.
Grow honestly
A clear name, an honest one-line description, pinned group rules and regular useful posts keep members from leaving. Groups that mislead people get reported and removed.
