Reporting a Bad or Dead Group on ShareYourGroup

Every card on ShareYourGroup has a 🚩 report button. Reports keep the directory clean: links reported several times are hidden automatically and reviewed.

How to report

  1. Tap the 🚩 on the group’s card.
  2. Pick a reason: 🔗 Link not working, 🚫 Spam or scam, 🔞 Adult content, 😡 Hate or violence or 🤔 Something else.
  3. You’ll see Thanks — we’ll review it 🙏. Reporting the same card again shows Already reported — thanks!

Which reason to choose

  • Link not working: reset link, full group, or WhatsApp says the group doesn’t exist.
  • Spam or scam: “earn money daily”, task jobs, investment “tips” asking for deposits, VIP entry fees, people asking for OTPs.
  • Adult content: 18+ or “paid friendship” groups, which aren’t allowed.
  • Hate or violence: abuse, threats, fake news or illegal content.

Also report inside WhatsApp

Open the group → tap its name → scroll down → Report group. WhatsApp can ban the people behind it, which ShareYourGroup can’t.

If you were cheated

  • Take screenshots, then block and report the person.
  • In India, call the cyber-crime helpline 1930 at once, or report at cybercrime.gov.in. Calling fast can help freeze the money.
  • Tell your bank to block cards or UPI if you shared details.

Questions

  • Will the admin know I reported? No. Reports are anonymous.
  • Is one report enough? Each report is counted; several reports hide a listing automatically while it’s reviewed.
