My Group Isn’t Showing, Disappeared or Was Removed on ShareYourGroup

Most groups appear on ShareYourGroup the moment they are published. If yours isn’t there, or was there and then vanished, one of these reasons applies.

It never appeared

  • Details still loading: if you saw “We’re fetching your group’s details”, wait up to about 15 minutes and reload.
  • It was refused: if you saw “This group can’t be listed — it breaks our rules”, the group can’t be listed with that name or description.
  • You’re looking in the wrong place: clear the search box, choose All categories, set the switch to show groups and channels, and sort by Newest.

It was listed, then disappeared

  • The invite link was reset: links are re-checked regularly, and dead or reset links are removed automatically. If you (or another admin) chose Reset link in WhatsApp, submit the new link.
  • The group is full or deleted: a full group (1,024 members) or a deleted group can’t be joined, so it’s removed.
  • It was reported: links reported several times are hidden automatically. Read the sharing rules, fix the group (name, description, spam) and submit a new link.
  • It simply moved down: new groups push older ones down. Sort by A → Z or search its name, or bump it back to the top by submitting the same link again (once every 24 hours).

“That group isn’t live anymore 😕”

This appears when someone taps a group that has just been removed. If it’s your group, check its invite link in WhatsApp, and submit the current one.

Want to remove your listing?

Reset the invite link in WhatsApp (group name → Invite via link → Reset link). The old listing stops working and is removed at the next check. For anything else, use the contact page with the group link.
