Kitty and Committee (BC) Tracker: Contributions, Pot and Fair Draw

What is it?

The Kitty and Committee Tracker helps you run a kitty party or committee (BC). It keeps the members, the monthly amount, who has paid and who has already won, and makes a fair lucky draw among those who haven’t.

Who is it for?

Kitty party organisers, office and neighbourhood committees, women’s self-help groups and families running a monthly savings circle.

How to use it

  1. Tap ➕ New kitty / committee: Name, Amount per member per month, First month and Member names, one per line; Create.
  2. Each month, tick who has paid. Choose the Winner this month (by bid or draw), or tap 🎲 Fair lucky draw.
  3. Share status on WhatsApp so all members see the same record.

Worked example

10 members paying ₹2,000 a month make a ₹20,000 pot each month; over 10 months everyone wins once. Sharing the status after each draw keeps it transparent.

Caution

Informal committees rely on trust; large unregistered chit funds can be illegal. Keep amounts small and among people you know.

Keep your records safe

Everything is saved in this browser on this device, never on our servers, so it’s private. It is lost if you clear browsing data, uninstall the browser or use a private window, and it doesn’t sync to other phones. Back it up regularly with My Data: Backup Everything, which saves all your Infinity records in one file you can restore on any device.

Errors and how to fix them

  • My entries disappeared: browser data was cleared, or you’re on another browser or device. Restore your latest backup in My Data: Backup Everything.
  • Draw picks someone who already won: it only draws among members who haven’t won; check the winners list is correct.
