Are My Files Uploaded? How the Free Tools Keep Files Private

No. Every tool on infinity.groupchaton.com works inside your own browser. Your files are not sent to us or to anyone else.

How it works

When you open a tool, your browser downloads the tool’s code. When you choose a file, that code processes it right on your phone or computer, and the result is saved straight to your device. Close the page, and your files are gone from it.

The few tools that use the internet

  • URL Shortener sends only the link you type to v.gd (or is.gd), which makes the short link.
  • Speech to Text uses your browser’s own speech recognition; some browsers, such as Chrome, send your voice to their speech service.
  • Image to Text (OCR) downloads its reading engine and language data; your image stays on your device.

Where did my file go?

Results are saved like any download: look in your Downloads folder, or your browser’s downloads list.

See it for yourself

  1. Open a tool, such as Merge PDF, and wait for it to load.
  2. Turn on airplane mode (or switch off Wi-Fi).
  3. Use the tool with your files. It still works, which shows nothing is being sent.

Tools that need a library download it when they first open, so load the tool before going offline.

Is it safe for ID cards and bank statements?

Yes: Aadhaar, PAN, passports and statements are processed only on your device. Two extra habits help:

  • Use a trusted, up-to-date browser, and avoid public computers for private documents.
  • Delete downloaded copies you no longer need from your Downloads folder, and watermark ID copies you send (Watermark Photos).

Do you see what I type?

No. Some tools remember your last input in your own browser so it’s there if you reload; nothing is stored on our side.
