Application Generator: Leave, Certificate, Bank and Complaint Applications

What is it?

The Application Generator writes ready-to-use applications and letters for school, office, bank and civic offices. Pick one, such as Sick leave, and fill in your details to get the finished text. Some school leave formats are in Hindi too.

Who is it for?

Students and parents writing to schools, employees writing to managers or HR, bank customers writing to a branch, and citizens writing complaints, especially anyone unsure of the right format and wording.

How to use it

  1. Under What do you need to write?, pick the application.
  2. Fill in the form: names, dates (from and till), class or department, account number and so on. The letter updates as you type.
  3. Read it once, change any wording you like, then Copy letter, Print / Save as PDF, or save it as Word (.doc) or Text (.txt). Start again clears the form.

Tips that get applications accepted

  • Address it to the right person: “The Principal”, “The Branch Manager”, with the school or branch name and city.
  • Give exact dates and the number of days. Attach a medical certificate for long sick leave.
  • For banks, write your account number and registered mobile number, sign as in bank records, and keep a stamped copy.

Problems and fixes

  • The printout has a header and footer: in the print window, open More settings and untick Headers and footers.
  • Word file opens in compatibility mode: that’s normal for .doc. Save it as .docx in Word to edit further.
