What is it?
The WhatsApp Link & QR Generator makes a wa.me chat link with a ready message, and a QR code customers can scan from a menu, card, poster or shop counter.
Who is it for?
Shops, restaurants, tutors, doctors’ clinics, real-estate agents and small businesses who want customers to start a WhatsApp chat in one tap: from an Instagram bio, a Google Business profile, a visiting card, a menu card on the table or a poster at the counter.
Make your link
- In Your WhatsApp number, type the number with its country code: 91 for India, 971 for UAE, 1 for USA. Spaces and + are fine.
- Write a Ready message, such as “Hi, I want to order from your menu”. Customers can still change it.
- Use Copy link for Instagram bios, Google Business and emails, or Download QR (PNG) to print. Tap Test the link to check it opens your chat.
The link opens the wrong number or says invalid
- The country code is missing.
wa.me/9876543210is wrong;wa.me/919876543210is right. - A leading 0 or 00 was typed before the country code. The tool removes 00, but check the link starts with your country code.
- The number is not on WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business.
Printing a QR code that always scans
- Print it at least 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide; 4 cm or more for posters seen from a distance.
- Keep the white border around the code. Do not crop it or place it on a busy background.
- Shorter ready messages make simpler QR codes that scan faster on older phones.
- Scan the printed proof with two different phones before printing hundreds.
Does the QR code expire?
No. It contains the link itself, not a redirect through our site, so it works for as long as your number is on WhatsApp.
