What is it?
Sunrise, Sunset and Prayer Times shows the sunrise and sunset for any place and day. It also gives first and last light, golden hour, day length and Islamic prayer times.
Who is it for?
Photographers planning golden-hour shoots, Muslims checking namaz times, people fasting during Ramzan, farmers, trekkers and anyone planning outdoor activities.
How to use it
- Tap 📍 Use my location, pick a City, or type Latitude and Longitude.
- Choose the Date.
- For 🕌 Prayer times, choose the calculation method and Asr setting used by your local mosque.
Golden hour
The hour after sunrise and before sunset gives soft, warm light that photographers love. Closer to the equator the sun rises and sets more steeply, so golden hour is shorter in India than in Europe; be ready 30 minutes early.
Errors and how to fix them
- “Type a latitude (−90 to 90) and longitude (−180 to 180), or pick a city”
- “Pick a date”
- “Location was not shared” or “This browser cannot share its location”: pick a city or type coordinates.
- Prayer times differ from the mosque: choose the same method; mosques may also add a few minutes for safety.
Questions people ask
- Which method for India? Many Indian mosques use the Karachi method with Hanafi Asr; ask your local mosque.
