What is it?
The Speed, Distance & Time Calculator finds the one you are missing: how long a trip takes, how far you go, or your average speed.
Who is it for?
Travellers planning road trips, students with motion problems, delivery planners, and athletes working out speeds.
How to use it
Fill in two of Speed, Distance and Time (hours:minutes), and leave the third empty. Use km with km/h, or miles with mph. The answer appears as you type; there is no Calculate button. Tap Copy result to copy it, or Share on WhatsApp to send it.
Entering time
- Type 2:30 for two and a half hours, not 2.30 (which means 2.3 hours = 2 h 18 min).
- The result is also shown as Time in minutes.
Real trips
- Average speed includes slow traffic and stops. On Indian highways, 50–60 km/h average is realistic even if you drive at 80–100.
- Add time for breaks: about 15 minutes every 2 hours of driving.
- For fuel cost, use the Fuel Cost or Travel Cost calculator.
School formula
Speed = Distance ÷ Time; Distance = Speed × Time; Time = Distance ÷ Speed. To change km/h to m/s, divide by 3.6.
Errors and how to fix them
- “Fill in exactly two of speed, distance and time”: clear the one you want to find.
- Time looks wrong: type 2:30, not 2.30.
