Scorekeeper: Keep Score for Card Games, Board Games and Sports

What is it?

Scorekeeper replaces the scrap paper at game night. Add the players, then tap quick buttons as points come in, or enter a whole round of scores at once for card games like rummy. Totals, positions and the leader update instantly; set a target score to announce the winner, or tick “lowest score wins” for golf and many card games. Up to 12 players.

Who is it for?

Families playing rummy, carrom or board games, quiz night hosts, darts and mini-golf groups, and anyone running a small tournament.

How to use it

  1. Optionally name the game in Game (optional), e.g. “Rummy at Grandma’s”.
  2. Type the player names; press + Add player or Remove last player.
  3. Tap the + and − buttons to add points, or open Score a whole round at once, type each player’s points and press Add round.
  4. Optionally set Target score (optional) and tick Lowest score wins (golf, rummy…).
  5. Press Copy results or WhatsApp to share. Undo last round fixes mistakes; New game clears scores. Try a sample shows an example.

Worked example

Rummy with 4 players, target 201, lowest wins: after each hand open “Score a whole round at once” and type each player’s points. The line above the table shows who leads; once someone reaches 201 it announces, for example, 🏆 Asha wins! (lowest score once someone reached 201). Ties share the same place, and a tie at the target shares the win.

The game is saved in this browser, so closing the page loses nothing.

Errors and how to fix them

  • “Type at least one score for this round.”: all round boxes are empty.
  • “Clear all scores and keep the player names?”: New game asks first; press Cancel to keep the scores.
  • Wrong round entered: press Undo last round, then add it again.
  • Negative points: type a minus sign in the round boxes (e.g. −20).
  • My game, best time or score has gone: it is kept only in this browser on this device. Private windows, clearing site data, or another browser or phone start fresh.
