What is it?
The Quotation Generator creates a quotation or estimate for a customer, with items, prices, tax, and a Valid until date.
Who is it for?
Contractors, suppliers, service businesses and freelancers sending price quotes to customers.
Make a quotation
- Fill in your business under From and the customer under Quotation for.
- Add items with + Add item: description, quantity, rate and tax.
- Set Valid until (15–30 days is common, shorter when material prices change fast). Add terms: delivery time, payment terms, what’s included.
Writing quotes that win orders
- Describe each item clearly: brand, size, model, and whether installation or delivery is included.
- Show tax separately so business buyers see the input credit.
- State payment terms (for example 50% advance, balance on delivery) and warranty.
- Number your quotes (QT-001…) so you can match them to orders later.
When the customer accepts
Open the Invoice Generator and add the same items, or make a Proforma Invoice if the customer needs one to release an advance payment.
Saving, reopening and sharing
- Your business details under From (your business, saved for next time) and your Logo (optional) are remembered on this device. Customers you use go into Saved customers.
- Tap Save to keep the document. Saved documents are listed so you can Open, Copy as new (for a repeat order) or Delete them, and Download list (CSV / Excel) for your records.
- Print / Save as PDF makes a PDF: choose Save as PDF as the printer. Send on WhatsApp shares a text summary.
Where is my data kept?
Everything is saved in this browser on this device, not on our servers. Clearing browsing data or using another phone or browser won’t show your documents. Download the list and PDFs regularly to keep copies.
