What is it?
Photo Filters and Adjustments changes how a photo looks. Adjust brightness, contrast, colour and warmth, add effects like black and white or sepia, or pick a one-tap preset.
Who is it for?
Anyone wanting a quick improvement to a dull, dark or yellow photo before posting it, sellers brightening product pictures, and people making documents more readable.
How to use it
- Tap Choose a photo (or Try a sample).
- Start from a preset, then fine-tune the sliders.
- Press and keep your finger on Hold to compare to see the original.
- Tap Save photo. Your changes are saved on the full-size photo, not the small preview, and the message shows its size (for example “Saved at full size: 1600 × 1067 px”). Then tap Download.
Quick fixes
- Dull photo: a little more contrast and saturation (+10 to +20).
- Too blue indoors or in shade: add warmth.
- Dark photo: raise brightness gently; too much turns blacks grey.
- Documents: black & white with more contrast makes text cleaner.
Good to know
Small changes look natural; big ones look fake. Don’t use filters on passport, visa or ID photos, which must show you as you are.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The file is opened and processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to us, and closing the page clears it.
Worked examples
- Indoor photo under yellow bulbs: lower Warmth a little, raise Brightness slightly.
- Product photo for WhatsApp catalogue: Brightness +10, Contrast +10, Saturation +10 gives a clean, bright look without looking fake.
- Old document photo: Black & white, Contrast high, then read it with Image to Text (OCR).
Common mistakes
- Too much saturation makes skin orange; check faces after editing.
- Editing a photo already received on WhatsApp: it’s compressed, so heavy edits show blocks. Edit the original.
