Money Manager: Track Daily Income, Expenses and Monthly Budget

What is it?

The Money Manager is a private expense tracker that works like an app: add income and expenses in seconds, set a Monthly budget, and see Where the money went.

Who is it for?

Students, families and individuals who want to track spending simply and privately on their phone.

Add entries

  1. Tap Add income or expense. Choose the Type, enter the Amount, Category (e.g. vegetables, petrol, electricity bill), Date and an optional Note.
  2. Move between days and months with ‹ and ›. Tap ✎ to edit or ✕ to delete an entry.
  3. Use Search notes and categories… to find an entry.

Budget

Set Budget for each month to see how much is left as you spend. Categories show where most money goes; small daily items like tea, snacks and delivery fees often add up the most.

Export

Download this month (CSV / Excel) or Download all (CSV) to open in Excel or Google Sheets, or to keep as a backup.

Keep your records safe

  • Records are stored in this browser on this device only, not on our servers, so they are private. The browser is asked not to clear them when space runs low.
  • Clearing browsing or site data, uninstalling the browser, or a private window will lose them. Download the CSV regularly as a backup.
  • Records don’t sync between phones. Use one device for each book.

Habits that work

  • Add entries the same day, right after paying; it takes 10 seconds.
  • Review each Sunday: what can you cut next week?
  • Use the Budget Calculator (50/30/20) to set a sensible budget.

Errors and how to fix them

  • Entries vanished: browser data was cleared; restore from your CSV.
