What is it?
Join Audio Files puts several songs or recordings together into one file. Set the order, choose a gap and whether to smooth the joins, and save a single MP3 or WAV. Different formats can be mixed.
Who is it for?
Dancers and school teams preparing a performance mix, teachers joining parts of a recorded lecture, podcasters adding an intro, and anyone combining voice notes into one file.
How to use it
- Choose at least 2 audio files and put them in order with the arrows.
- Pick the Gap between files (or No gap) and Save as MP3 or WAV.
- Tick Smooth joins (no clicks), then tap Join files. You’ll see Opening … and Saving ….
Worked example: a dance performance mix
Three songs, trimmed first with Audio Trimmer, joined with a 2-second gap and Smooth joins, saved as MP3: one file to play without fumbling between tracks on stage. Smooth joins add a tiny 30 millisecond fade so there is no click where files meet.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is opened and changed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to us, and closing the page clears it.
Errors and how to fix them
- “Choose at least 2 files”: add another file.
- “… could not be opened as audio”: convert unusual formats with Audio Converter first.
- “That is over 3 hours of audio: too much for a browser to join in one go”: join in smaller groups, then join the results.
- Volume jumps between songs: the files were recorded at different levels; this tool does not change volume.
