What is it?
Jigsaw Puzzle Maker turns any photo into a jigsaw with real curved tab-and-blank pieces. Choose 9 pieces for little ones or up to 64 for a proper challenge. Pieces scatter below the board and snap into place when you drag them close to the right spot. Your photo stays on your device.
Who is it for?
Families turning holiday or pet photos into a game, grandparents playing with grandchildren, teachers using a class picture, and anyone who likes jigsaws without lost pieces.
How to use it
- Tap Choose a photo (or drop one on the box), or press Try a sample.
- Pick the Pieces: 9, 16, 25, 36 or 64, and press Start / restart.
- Drag pieces from the tray onto the board. Within about a quarter of a piece of the right spot, they snap in and stay.
- Untick Show a faint picture on the board for a harder game.
- Watch In place and Time; at the end you see Puzzle complete. and your time.
Tips
- Start with edge pieces (they have a straight side), then fill by colour.
- Keyboard: Tab to a piece and use the arrow keys to move it, or Enter to put it in place.
- Example: a birthday photo at 16 pieces takes a 6-year-old about five minutes; at 64 pieces it is a 20-minute family challenge.
- Nothing is uploaded: the picture is cut into pieces inside your browser.
Errors and how to fix them
- “Choose a photo first, or press Try a sample.”: Start needs a picture.
- “That file could not be opened as a picture.”: use JPG, PNG or WebP; convert HEIC photos to JPG first.
- Pieces are tiny on my phone: choose 9 to 25 pieces on a phone, or play 36 and 64 on a tablet or computer.
- Part of my photo is missing: photos are cropped a little to fit the board’s shape; choose a photo with the subject in the middle.
