What is it?
The Image Converter changes many images at once to JPG, PNG or WebP. It reads JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and SVG, and you can paste a screenshot straight in.
Who is it for?
Anyone whose form, website or app refuses a picture because of its format: converting WebP downloads to JPG, screenshots to PNG, or photos to WebP for a faster website.
How to convert
- Tap Choose images, drop them on the page, or paste a screenshot.
- Pick Convert to and, for JPG and WebP, the quality (90% is a good default).
- Tap Convert. Download each image, or all of them as a ZIP.
Which format?
- JPG: photos, and any site or form that asks for JPG. No transparency.
- PNG: logos, screenshots, text and anything with a transparent background. Larger for photos.
- WebP: the smallest files at the same look. Good for websites and WhatsApp stickers; a few old programs can’t open it.
Problems and fixes
- The transparent background turned white or black: JPG can’t store transparency. Convert to PNG or WebP instead.
- “This browser cannot save …”: some older browsers (mainly old Safari) can’t write WebP. Update the browser or choose JPG or PNG.
- An animated GIF became still: only the first frame is converted.
- iPhone HEIC photos won’t open: on the iPhone, go to Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible so new photos are saved as JPG, or share the photo, which usually sends a JPG.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The file is opened and processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to us, and closing the page clears it.
