Image to PDF: Page Size, Margins and Photos That Come Out Sideways

What is it?

Image to PDF puts your photos, scans or screenshots into one PDF, one picture per page. It is the quick way to send documents to offices, schools and banks.

Who is it for?

Students submitting handwritten assignments, job seekers and applicants sending ID and certificate scans, and anyone whose office, school or bank asks for “one PDF” of several photos.

How to make the PDF

  1. Tap Choose images and pick your photos. Arrange them in the order you want the pages.
  2. Choose the Page size: Same as image, A4 or Letter.
  3. Choose the Orientation: Automatic (each page follows its picture), Portrait or Landscape. Add a Margin if you want a white border.
  4. Tap Make PDF and download it.

Which page size?

  • A4 for India, Europe and most of the world when the PDF might be printed.
  • Letter for the USA and Canada.
  • Same as image when it will only be viewed on screen: no white bands around the picture.

Problems and fixes

  • A photo is sideways: rotate it in your gallery and save it, then add it again.
  • The PDF is too big to upload: phone photos are 3–8 MB each. Shrink them first with Image Compressor (for example, longest side 1920 px), then make the PDF.
  • The scan looks grey or dark: take the photo in daylight, flat and from straight above, or use your phone’s document-scan mode.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The file is opened and processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to us, and closing the page clears it.
