What is it?
Hindi Riddles is a set of more than 35 rhyming पहेलियाँ (riddles) in Hindi, written by us in the traditional बूझो तो जानें style. Each riddle has a संकेत (hint) and an उत्तर (answer), and the buttons are in Hindi too.
Who is it for?
Families who enjoy paheliyan together, children learning to read Hindi, Hindi teachers, and WhatsApp family groups that like a daily puzzle.
How to use it
- पहेली पढ़ें: read the riddle. The line above it shows its number and how many are हल (solved).
- Type your answer in अपना उत्तर लिखें… and press जाँचें (Check) or Enter. A right answer shows सही जवाब! 🎉.
- 💡 संकेत gives a hint; 👀 उत्तर shows the answer.
- अगली ▶ goes to the next riddle, ◀ goes back, 🔀 कोई भी picks any one. At the top, बिना हल shows only unsolved riddles and सभी shows all.
- WhatsApp पर भेजें shares the riddle; सारी पहेलियाँ उत्तर के साथ opens the full list with answers.
Tips
- Read the पहेली aloud with rhythm: the rhyme often points to the answer.
- No Hindi keyboard? Say the answer aloud and press 👀 उत्तर to check it.
- Children learning Hindi can use the संकेत lines as easy reading practice.
- These are new riddles in the old style, so even families who know the classic paheliyan will find fresh ones.
Errors and how to fix them
- “नहीं, फिर से सोचें या संकेत देखें।”: the answer did not match. Small spelling differences such as चाँद or चांद and the nukta dot are ignored, so check the word itself.
- “अपना उत्तर लिखें…” in red: the box was empty when you pressed जाँचें.
- I typed in English letters (Roman Hindi): answers must be in Devanagari. Add the Hindi keyboard in Gboard or your phone’s keyboard settings, or use voice typing; on Windows add Hindi under Settings › Time & language › Language & region.
- “आपने सारी पहेलियाँ हल कर लीं! 🏆”: you have solved every riddle with बिना हल chosen; tap सभी to play again.
- My ticks and solved count are gone: progress is saved only in this browser on this device. A private (incognito) window, clearing site data, or another phone or browser starts from zero.
