GST Sales and Purchase Register: Monthly GST, ITC and Tax Payable

What is it?

The GST Sales and Purchase Register keeps a simple register of every sales and purchase invoice. Type the date, invoice number, party, GSTIN, taxable value and rate; it splits CGST/SGST or IGST using Your business’s state, totals GST by rate and month, and estimates input tax credit and tax payable.

Who is it for?

Small GST-registered shops and traders, freelancers with GST, and anyone who sends invoice lists to an accountant each month for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.

How to use it

  1. Set your business’s state. Add each sales or purchase Entry with date, invoice number, party, GSTIN, taxable value and rate.
  2. Tap Add sales from my saved invoices to import invoices made in the Invoice Generator.
  3. Choose the Month, check the totals, and Download CSV.

Rough tax payable

Output GST on sales minus input tax credit on eligible purchases gives a rough figure. Real returns depend on ITC rules, credit notes, reverse charge and matching with GSTR-2B, so confirm with your accountant before paying.

Keep your records safe

Everything is saved in this browser on this device, never on our servers, so it’s private. It is lost if you clear browsing data, uninstall the browser or use a private window, and it doesn’t sync to other phones. Back it up regularly with My Data: Backup Everything, which saves all your Infinity records in one file you can restore on any device.

Errors and how to fix them

  • “Add the invoice number and a taxable value”
  • “A GSTIN has 15 characters”: check for a missing or extra character.
  • “Sample entries added for this month”: remove them from the Register tab with Remove sample entries when done.
  • My entries disappeared: browser data was cleared, or you’re on another browser or device. Restore your latest backup in My Data: Backup Everything.
