What is it?
The UPI Payment QR tool makes a QR code that any UPI app, such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or a bank app, opens ready to pay you. Type your UPI ID and name, optionally add a fixed amount and a note, and download a clean “Scan & Pay” card to print or copy the UPI link to share.
Who is it for?
Shopkeepers, street vendors, tuition teachers, event organisers, freelancers and anyone collecting money in India without a bank sticker.
How to use it
- Type Your UPI ID (like name@okhdfcbank or 9876543210@ybl) and Your name or shop name.
- Optionally fill Amount in ₹ (optional) for one bill and Note (optional). Leave the amount empty for a counter code.
- When it says “✓ Ready. Scan it once with your own UPI app to check the name before you print it.”, test it.
- Press Download card (PNG) or Copy UPI link.
Stay safe
You never enter a UPI PIN to receive money. Anyone asking you to scan or enter a PIN “to receive” money is attempting fraud. Check your bank SMS after each payment rather than trusting a customer’s screen.
The QR code only contains your UPI ID, name and optional amount and note. Payments go straight to your bank; we are never involved and nothing is sent to us.
Errors and how to fix them
- “Type your UPI ID (it looks like name@bank) to make the code”
- “… does not look like a UPI ID. It should look like name@okhdfcbank or 9876543210@ybl”: check for spaces and the @ part. Find your ID in your UPI app’s profile.
- “The amount must be more than zero”
- “Note: many UPI apps limit one payment to ₹1 lakh”: split large amounts.
- Wrong name shows when scanning: the app shows the name registered with your bank; check the UPI ID.
