What is it?
The Tournament Bracket Maker builds a knockout bracket from your players or teams, with fair seeding and byes when numbers aren’t a power of 2. Tap winners to move them through to the final, then print or copy it.
Who is it for?
Office and society sports organisers, schools and clubs running carrom, chess, badminton or cricket tournaments, and gamers running FIFA or quiz events.
How to use it
- Type Players or teams, one per line (best first if you want seeding), and a Tournament name (optional).
- Tap Make bracket.
- Tap each winner to advance; Print or Copy as text.
Seeding and byes
With 12 players, the bracket needs 16 slots, so the top 4 seeds get byes into round two. Seeding keeps the strongest players apart until later rounds. To make it random instead, shuffle the list first (Sort Lines → Shuffle randomly).
Errors and how to fix them
- “Type at least two players or teams, one per line”
- “Up to 64 entries fit in one bracket”
- “Make the bracket first”
- “Allow pop-ups to print, or copy the bracket as text”
Questions people ask
- Can I edit names after making it? Edit the list and make the bracket again.
- Is seeding random? No: list the best players first for seeding, or shuffle the list for random draws.
