Staff Salary Register: Salary After Absences, Advances and Bonus, With Slips

What is it?

The Staff Salary Register keeps pay records for a few employees. It remembers absences, advances taken mid-month, bonuses and deductions, works out what is still due, records payments and prints a salary slip.

Who is it for?

Small shop owners, households paying domestic help and drivers, contractors, clinics and small offices without payroll software.

How to use it

  1. Tap ➕ Add staff: Name, Pay type, Salary / wage and Mobile (optional). Set your Shop / business name for salary slips in settings.
  2. Choose the Month, tap a name, and record Days absent this month and entries (advance, bonus, deduction or payment) with Amount, Date and Note; tap Save entry.
  3. Open Salary slip to print or share it.

Worked example

Monthly salary ₹15,000 for a 30-day month, 2 days absent, ₹2,000 advance taken on the 10th: salary for days worked ₹14,000, minus advance, ₹12,000 still to pay.

Good practice

Share the slip with the employee each month so both sides agree. Check minimum wage rules in your state.

Keep your records safe

Everything is saved in this browser on this device, never on our servers, so it’s private. It is lost if you clear browsing data, uninstall the browser or use a private window, and it doesn’t sync to other phones. Back it up regularly with My Data: Backup Everything, which saves all your Infinity records in one file you can restore on any device.

Errors and how to fix them

  • My entries disappeared: browser data was cleared, or you’re on another browser or device. Restore your latest backup in My Data: Backup Everything.
  • Pay looks wrong: check the pay type (monthly vs daily wage) and the days absent.
  • Advance counted twice: an advance should be recorded once; delete the duplicate entry.
