What is it?
Printable Sudoku makes pages of brand-new sudoku puzzles to print or save as a PDF, with an optional answer page at the end. Choose the level, one big puzzle or up to six per A4 page, and up to ten pages. Each puzzle is made on your device and checked to have exactly one answer.
Who is it for?
Grandparents and anyone who prefers pencil and paper, teachers making worksheets, puzzle booklets for train journeys and waiting rooms, and activity sheets for clubs.
How to use it
- Pick a Level: Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert or Mixed (easy → hard).
- Pick Puzzles per page (1 big puzzle, 2, 4 or 6 per page) and How many pages (1 to 10).
- Change the Title on the page if you like, and keep Add an answer page at the end ticked.
- Press Make puzzles and wait for Ready to print.
- Press Print or save as PDF, or Download PNG to share pages as images.
Choosing a layout
- 1 big puzzle has large numbers, easiest for older eyes. Two per page is still comfortable; four or six per page suit booklets.
- Mixed starts with easy puzzles and ends with hard ones: good for a mixed-ability class.
- Answer grids show the clues in black and the missing numbers in grey, so marking is quick.
- Example: Level Medium, 4 per page, 5 pages = 20 puzzles plus answers, ready for a weekend.
Errors and how to fix them
- The Print and Download buttons are greyed out: they work only after Make puzzles has finished.
- It is taking a long time: expert puzzles take longer to make, especially 60 at once on an older phone. Watch the progress bar, or choose fewer pages.
- No “Save as PDF” option: in the print window, change the printer to “Save as PDF” or “Microsoft Print to PDF”.
- Printed too small or on two pages: in the print window set Scale to 100% (or “Fit to page”), paper A4 or Letter, and turn off headers and footers.
