What is it?
Add Watermark to PDF stamps text (in any language, including Hindi and emoji) or a logo onto PDF pages: diagonally across the page, straight in the centre, repeated all over, or small in a corner. You choose the colour, size, pages and how see-through it is.
Who is it for?
Businesses sharing quotations and price lists, designers sending previews to clients, people sending ID copies for one purpose, teachers marking drafts, and anyone marking a document CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF.
- Choose the Watermark: Text (type the Watermark text and pick a Colour) or Logo / image (Choose your logo: a PNG with a see-through background is best).
- Pick the Layout, Size and Strength (see-through ↔ solid). Leave Pages (optional) empty for all pages, or type pages like
1-3, 7. - Tap Add watermark and download.
Which layout to choose
- Repeated all over: hardest to remove; use it for ID copies and design previews.
- Diagonal across the page: the classic DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL look.
- Small, bottom corner: branding on brochures and price lists without getting in the way.
Example: an Aadhaar copy for a SIM card
Text “For SIM KYC only – 1 Nov 2026”, Repeated all over, strength about 30%: the copy stays readable but can’t easily be reused for another purpose.
The PDF is opened and changed inside your browser; it is never uploaded. Close the page and it is gone.
Errors and how to fix them
- “This PDF is password-protected. Remove the password first”: open it once with Remove PDF Password (you need the password), then use the unlocked copy here.
- “Type the watermark text”: the text box is empty.
- “Choose a logo image first”: you chose Logo but didn’t pick a file.
- “Those pages are not in this PDF”: the page numbers in Pages are bigger than the page count.
- Watermark hides the text: lower the Strength to make it more see-through, or use Small, bottom corner.
