Online Mirror: Check Your Look With the Front Camera

What is it?

The Online Mirror shows you in your front camera, mirrored like a real mirror, with Zoom, Brightness and a light ring for dark rooms. Check hair, teeth or make-up before a meeting. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.

Who is it for?

People getting ready for video calls or interviews, anyone without a mirror nearby, and people checking make-up or contact lenses.

How to use it

  1. Tap Open mirror and allow the camera.
  2. Adjust Zoom and Brightness; the light ring helps in dim light.
  3. Tap Take a photo if you want a still. Close the mirror to turn the camera off.

Tip for video calls

Use the mirror to check your lighting before joining: face a window or lamp, and keep the camera at eye level. Mirror closed. The camera is off. appears when you close it, so you know it isn’t running.

Errors and how to fix them

  • This browser cannot open the camera here. Try Chrome, Safari or Edge on a phone or laptop.
  • Camera blocked: allow the camera in the browser’s site settings (icon left of the address) and in phone Settings → Apps → your browser → Permissions. In-app browsers (Instagram, Facebook) often block cameras: open the page in Chrome or Safari.
  • Camera in use: close video-call apps that hold the camera.
  • Image looks flipped compared to photos: mirrors are flipped; that’s how a mirror shows you.
