My Recipe Book: Save Family Recipes With Photos, Scale and Share

What is it?

My Recipe Book keeps your family recipes in one place: title, photo, ingredients one per line, method, servings and notes. Find a recipe by name or ingredient, scale it, and print or share it.

Who is it for?

Home cooks saving family recipes, home bakers and tiffin services, and anyone whose recipes are scattered across notebooks and WhatsApp chats.

How to use it

  1. Tap ➕ Add recipe: title (e.g. Rajma chawal), Category, time in minutes, photo, Ingredients one per line, Method and notes.
  2. Use Search recipe or ingredient (e.g. paneer)… to find recipes.
  3. Open one to change Servings, Print / Save as PDF, Share on WhatsApp or Copy.

Tip

Write quantities you actually use (“1 cup rajma, soaked overnight”) and steps the way you’d tell someone, like “Pressure cook for 6 whistles”. That’s what makes family recipes repeatable.

Keep your records safe

Everything is saved in this browser on this device, never on our servers, so it’s private. It is lost if you clear browsing data, uninstall the browser or use a private window, and it doesn’t sync to other phones. Back it up regularly with My Data: Backup Everything, which saves all your Infinity records in one file you can restore on any device.

Errors and how to fix them

  • My entries disappeared: browser data was cleared, or you’re on another browser or device. Restore your latest backup in My Data: Backup Everything.
  • Scaling didn’t change a line: put the number first (“2 onions”, not “onions 2”).
  • Photos make backups large: that’s normal; photos are stored inside the backup.
