What is it?
Emoji Riddles has more than 75 emoji puzzles: a few emoji stand for a word, a Bollywood or Hollywood film, a place, a dish or a saying. Choose a category or play them all, type your guess, or open four Choices from the same category. The label above the emoji tells you what to guess, such as “Guess the film”.
Who is it for?
Families and friends playing on WhatsApp, film fans, party and kitty-party hosts, and anyone who likes a light puzzle.
How to use it
- Pick a Category: All, Words, Films, Places, Food or Sayings. Each category remembers its own solved puzzles.
- Look at the emoji and type your guess, then press Check or Enter.
- Press 🔤 Choices to pick from four answers, 💡 Hint for a clue, or 👀 Answer to reveal it.
- Use Next ▶, ◀ and 🔀 Random to move; Not solved skips ones you have guessed.
- Share on WhatsApp or Copy sends the puzzle to friends.
Worked examples and tips
- ☀️🌻 is a word: sun + flower = sunflower.
- 🌧️🐱🐶 is a saying: raining cats and dogs.
- Read the emoji left to right and say them aloud: many answers are sound-alike combinations.
- Films and sayings often use one symbol for the key idea, not every word.
Errors and how to fix them
- “Your answer…” shown in red: you pressed Check with an empty box. Type a guess first.
- “Not quite. Try again, or take a hint.”: your answer did not match. Capital letters, “a” and “the”, plurals, spaces and punctuation are already ignored, and common other wordings are accepted, so try another word for the same thing, or press 👀 Answer to compare.
- A choice turned red: that is not the answer; try another of the four.
- An emoji shows as a box or looks different: phone makers draw emoji differently and very old phones lack newer ones. Update your phone or open the page in another browser.
- My ticks and solved count are gone: progress is saved only in this browser on this device. A private (incognito) window, clearing site data, or another phone or browser starts from zero.
