What is it?
The Delivery Challan Generator creates a delivery challan: a document that goes with goods when they move, listing items and quantities without prices.
Who is it for?
Manufacturers, traders, job-work units and businesses moving goods without a sale invoice.
When a challan is used
- Goods sent for job work (stitching, polishing, repairs) or on approval / sale-or-return.
- Transfers between your own godowns or branches.
- Deliveries where the invoice is sent separately or later, or items sent for exhibitions.
Make a challan
- Fill in From and the receiver under Deliver to.
- Add items with + Add item: description, HSN / SAC (optional) and quantity. Prices aren’t shown on a challan.
- Add the purpose, vehicle number and transporter if needed. Print two or three copies and get the receiver’s signature on one.
Good to know (India)
- For taxable goods worth above the e-way bill limit moving by road, an e-way bill may be needed even with a challan. Check the GST portal rules for your case.
- Number challans in sequence (DC-001…) and keep copies; GST rules require records of job-work movements.
Saving, reopening and sharing
- Your business details under From (your business, saved for next time) and your Logo (optional) are remembered on this device. Customers you use go into Saved customers.
- Tap Save to keep the document. Saved documents are listed so you can Open, Copy as new (for a repeat order) or Delete them, and Download list (CSV / Excel) for your records.
- Print / Save as PDF makes a PDF: choose Save as PDF as the printer. Send on WhatsApp shares a text summary.
Where is my data kept?
Everything is saved in this browser on this device, not on our servers. Clearing browsing data or using another phone or browser won’t show your documents. Download the list and PDFs regularly to keep copies.
Errors and how to fix them
- No prices shown: challans don’t show prices; that’s expected.
