What is it?
Days Until Countdown counts the days, weeks and working days until any date, with a live countdown.
Who is it for?
Students counting down to exams, couples to weddings, travellers to trips, and anyone tracking a deadline, visa expiry or festival.
How to use it
- Write What are you counting down to?, like My birthday, Board exam, Trip to Goa, and pick the Date.
- Tap Save this countdown to keep it. Saved countdowns are listed under Saved on this device; tap Open to see one again.

- Exam preparation: working days left helps plan revision.
- Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and festivals.
- Project deadlines and visa or passport expiry.
Good to know
- Working days skip Saturdays and Sundays; public holidays aren’t known. For exact business days with holidays, use the Working Days Calculator.

Worked example: board exams
If the first paper is on 15 February and today is 1 November, the countdown shows about 106 days, 15 weeks and about 76 working days. Dividing your syllabus by the working days (leaving the last two weeks for revision) gives a daily target you can actually follow.
Example: a trip
Countdown to “Trip to Goa” on 20 December. Use the weeks figure to plan: book tickets now, hotels 6 weeks before, packing list the week before.
Repeating dates
For birthdays and festivals that come every year, the countdown goes to the next one. After the day passes, set the next year’s date or let it roll over.

Common questions
- Does “days until” include today? It counts the days remaining until the date, not counting today as a full day.
- Holidays? Working days skip weekends only; use Working Days Calculator to skip public holidays.
