What is it?
Counting 1 to 100 is counting practice from the very first numbers. Choose a number and that many pictures appear in rows of ten; tap each one to count. Play “How many?” and explore the 1–100 chart with counting in 2s, 5s and 10s.
Who is it for?
Pre-school and Class 1–2 children, parents teaching numbers at home, and teachers using a projector or tablet.
How to use it
- Type in Choose a number (1 to 100) or tap 🎲 New.
- Tap each picture to count, or ▶ Count aloud (Stop to pause).
- Play “How many?” and the chart activities; Play again for more.
Why rows of ten?
Seeing 37 as three full rows and seven more builds place value (tens and ones), the base of all later maths. Ask “how many full rows?” and “how many extra?”.
For parents and teachers
Short sessions work best: 5–10 minutes a day, then something active. Sit with young children, say the answers aloud together, and praise effort, not just right answers. Everything runs on the device with no sign-up, no chat and no data collected about your child.
Errors and how to fix them
- No sound when tapping 🔊: turn up the volume, switch off silent mode (on iPhone, the side switch), and check the browser tab isn’t muted. Sounds use your device’s built-in voices.
- Counting goes too fast: tap pictures one at a time instead of Count aloud.
