Books and Reading Log: Want to Read, Reading, Finished and a Yearly Goal

What is it?

The Books and Reading Log is a private list of your books. Keep the books you want to read, the page you are on, finished books with a rating and notes, and a reading goal for the year.

Who is it for?

Readers of all ages, students with reading lists, book clubs, and parents tracking children’s reading.

How to use it

  1. Add a book: Title, Author, Pages and Status; tap Add book.
  2. Tap Start reading, then update Page you are on as you go; tap Finished! at the end.
  3. Add a Rating, a Notes line to remember it by, and set Books I want to read this year.

Reading more

A goal of 12 books a year is one a month, about 10–15 pages a day for an average book. Update the page each night; seeing progress helps the habit stick.

Keep your records safe

Everything is saved in this browser on this device, never on our servers, so it’s private. It is lost if you clear browsing data, uninstall the browser or use a private window, and it doesn’t sync to other phones. Back it up regularly with My Data: Backup Everything, which saves all your Infinity records in one file you can restore on any device.

Errors and how to fix them

  • My entries disappeared: browser data was cleared, or you’re on another browser or device. Restore your latest backup in My Data: Backup Everything.
  • Progress bar wrong: check the book’s total pages.
