What is it?
Split PDF takes pages out of a PDF. You can keep only the pages you need, save every page as its own file, or cut a long PDF into parts of a set size.
Who is it for?
Anyone who needs only part of a PDF: one page of a bank statement for a visa file, a single chapter of a book, or a big scanned file cut into parts small enough for an upload limit.
The three ways to split
- Extract pages: type the Pages to keep, such as
1-3, 5, 8-10. You get one PDF with just those pages. - Every page separately: a 20-page PDF becomes 20 files. Download them together as a ZIP.
- Split every N pages: set Pages per file. For example, 5 turns a 23-page file into parts of 5, 5, 5, 5 and 3 pages.
Choose the PDF with Choose a PDF, pick the way, then tap Split PDF.
Writing page ranges
- Use commas between parts and a dash for a range:
2-4, 7, 9-12. - Page numbers are the PDF’s own order (the first page is 1), even if the pages print other numbers like “iv” or “Page 15”.
- Spaces don’t matter. Pages outside the PDF are refused: a 10-page file has no page 12.
Problems and fixes
- “Type the pages you want”: the range box is empty or has letters in it.
- Each part is almost as big as the whole PDF: some PDFs share one large font or image between all pages, so every part carries it. This is normal and doesn’t harm the files.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The file is opened and processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to us, and closing the page clears it.
