What is it?
The Lend and Borrow Tracker keeps a record of money you lend to, or borrow from, friends and family. Note each amount with the date and a reason, record part payments, and see a clear balance for each person.
Who is it for?
Anyone who lends to friends and relatives, roommates sharing costs, small traders with informal credit, and people who simply forget who owes what.
How to use it
- Add a Person, the Amount, Date, whether you gave or took, a Return by (optional) date and a Note (optional) like “for hospital bill”.
- When money comes back, record Money returned and Save.
- Use Remind on WhatsApp for a polite reminder.
Worked example
You lent Ravi ₹5,000 on 1 March and he returned ₹2,000 on 15 April: the tracker shows ₹3,000 still to get, with the note and dates to remind him politely.

Write the reason and a return date when you lend; a clear note avoids awkward conversations later.
Keep your records safe
Everything is saved in this browser on this device, never on our servers, so it’s private. It is lost if you clear browsing data, uninstall the browser or use a private window, and it doesn’t sync to other phones. Errors and how to fix them
- My entries disappeared: browser data was cleared, or you’re on another browser or device. Restore your latest backup in My Data: Backup Everything.
- Balance wrong: a return was saved as a new loan; delete and re-enter it.
