What is it?
HTML to PDF turns HTML code (a web page, an email template, an invoice design) into a PDF. Check it in the Preview first.
Who is it for?
Web designers and developers, bloggers saving a formatted post, people with HTML invoices or email templates, and anyone writing in Hindi or other scripts who needs a PDF with every letter showing correctly.
Two ways to save
- Print / Save as PDF (best): opens the print window. Choose Save as PDF as the printer. Text stays sharp, selectable and searchable, and every language and emoji works.
- Download PDF: saves the preview as a picture inside a PDF. Quick, but text can’t be selected and is softer when zoomed.
How to use it
- Paste your code in HTML code. It can include
<style>. - Check the Preview, pick the Paper (A4 or Letter).
- Save it one of the two ways above.
Problems and fixes
- Images are missing: images from other websites may be blocked for safety. Use images that allow sharing, or embed them as data URLs (Image to Base64).
- Content is cut at the right edge: fixed widths wider than the paper (for example
width:1200px) don’t fit. Usemax-width:100%. - A table or box splits across two pages: add
break-inside: avoidto it in your CSS. Addbreak-before: pageto start a section on a new page. - Background colours are gone in print: in the print window, open More settings and tick Background graphics.
Is my code uploaded?
No. The preview and the PDF are made in your browser. Scripts in your HTML are not run, for your safety.
