What is it?
The Final Grade Calculator tells you what You need on the final exam to reach the grade you want, and what you’d end with If you score 100% or If you score 50%.
Who is it for?
College and school students planning how much to score in a final exam to reach a target grade.
How to use it
Enter Your grade so far (%), how much The final exam counts for (% of the total), and the Grade you want. The answer appears as you type; there is no Calculate button. Tap Copy result to copy it, or Share on WhatsApp to send it.
Reading the result
- Needed score above 100%: the target can’t be reached with this final alone. Ask about extra credit or re-assessment.
- Needed score below 0%: you’ve already reached the target.
Where to find the numbers
- The weight of the final is in your course outline or syllabus (often 30–60%).
- “Grade so far” is your weighted average of everything else: assignments, quizzes, mid-terms.
- For Indian boards and universities with internal and external marks, use the marks out of the total instead of percentages, or convert both to % first.
Errors and how to fix them
- “Enter the weight of the final (more than 0)”: type the final exam’s share in %.
- Needed score above 100%: the target isn’t reachable with the final alone.
