What is it?
The Drawing Board is a free space to sketch, teach, draw diagrams or doodle with a finger, stylus or mouse. It has pens, shapes and an eraser on white, grid or chalkboard paper, and you can save your drawing as a picture.
Who is it for?
Teachers explaining on a projector or video call, children drawing, students sketching diagrams, and anyone needing a quick whiteboard.
How to use it
- Choose the tool, colour, Size, Paper and Board shape.
- Draw; Ctrl+Z undoes.
- Save PNG when done; Clear to start over (Clear can be undone too).
Teaching tip
Use the chalkboard paper with Full screen on a projector or shared screen for live explanations, and save each board as you go.
Errors and how to fix them
- Page scrolls instead of drawing on a phone: draw inside the board; go Full screen.
- Drawing lost: Your drawing stays on this device until you save it; save often.
Questions people ask
- Can I draw shapes? Yes: lines, rectangles and circles, alongside pen, marker and eraser.
- Does it work with a stylus? Yes, including tablets with a pen; lines follow the stylus.
- Can I add text? Draw letters by hand; for typed text, edit the saved PNG in another app.
Ideas
Draw a maths diagram on grid paper for a student, or a quick map to your house and send the PNG on WhatsApp.
