Copy and Paste Symbols: ₹, °, ✓, ©, ™, Arrows and Maths

What is it?

Copy and Paste Symbols gives one-tap copying of symbols you can’t find on your keyboard: the rupee sign, degrees, ticks, ©, ™, arrows, maths and Greek letters, with their names and Unicode codes.

Who is it for?

Students writing assignments and science notes, sellers writing prices, office staff preparing documents, and anyone writing on a phone or computer without symbol keys.

How to use it

  1. Type in Search (rupee, arrow, tick, degree, copyright…) or browse.
  2. Tap symbols to collect them, then Copy all; Clear to reset.
  3. “Tip: hover or long-press a symbol to see its name and Unicode code”

Examples

  • Temperature: 37 °C (degree sign, not a superscript o).
  • Prices: ₹1,250 (rupee sign, U+20B9).
  • Lists: ✓ done, ✗ not done.

Errors and how to fix them

  • “Nothing matches. Try a simpler word like arrow, star or money”
  • Shows as a box after pasting: the app’s font lacks it; try another font or a common symbol.

Questions people ask

  • What’s the difference from the Special Characters tool? Both copy symbols; this one is quick for everyday signs, while Special Characters also covers accents, Greek and Indian characters with codes.
  • Can I use these in my website code? Yes, paste them directly (pages using UTF-8 show them correctly), or use the HTML code like ₹ for ₹.

Common symbols

  • ₹ rupee, € euro, £ pound, ¥ yen
  • ° degree, ± plus-minus, × multiply, ÷ divide, ≈ about
  • © copyright, ® registered, ™ trademark
  • ✓ ✔ ticks, ✗ ✘ crosses, → ← arrows, • bullet
