Contact QR Code (vCard): Share Your Details in One Scan

What is it?

The Contact QR Code tool puts your details in a QR code using the standard vCard format. When someone scans it, their phone shows your name and details with an “Add to contacts” button, with no typing mistakes. You can also save a .vcf contact file to send on WhatsApp or email.

Who is it for?

Business owners, salespeople, freelancers and doctors printing business cards, shops with a counter display, and event badges.

How to use it

  1. Fill in the fields you need: First name, Last name, Mobile, Work phone, Email, Company, Job title, Website, Street, City, State / region, PIN / ZIP code, Country and Note. Or tap Try a sample.
  2. Wait for “✓ Ready. Scan it with a phone camera: it offers to save the contact.” and test it with your own phone.
  3. Press Download QR (PNG) to print, or Save contact (.vcf) to share the file.

Worked example

The sample is Asha Verma, Owner of Verma Bakers, mobile +91 98765 43210, asha@example.com. Scanning it on an iPhone or Android shows a contact card ready to save. Print the code at least 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide on business cards.

Your details are made into the code on this device; nothing is sent or saved.

Errors and how to fix them

  • “Type at least a name to make the code”: fill First name, Last name or Company.
  • “The code is dense: leave out the note or address if it is hard to scan”: every field adds dots; drop the longest ones or print it larger.
  • “Too much text for one QR code: shorten the note or address”
  • Number does not work from abroad: type it with the country code, like +91 98765 43210.
