What is it?
The Periodic Table shows all 118 elements from hydrogen to oganesson, coloured by type (alkali metals, transition metals, noble gases…), with atomic number, mass, block and state. Tap an element for details.
Who is it for?
Class 9–12 chemistry students, NEET and JEE aspirants, teachers, and anyone curious about the elements.
How to use it
- Search: name, symbol or number (e.g. iron, Fe, 26), or tap an element.
- Read its details.
- Use 57–71 and 89–103 for the lanthanides and actinides; Show all resets.
Remembering it
Learn the first 20 elements in order with a mnemonic, then the groups: group 1 metals react strongly with water; group 18 noble gases barely react. Pair it with the Molar Mass Calculator for chemistry problems.
Errors and how to fix them
- Table cut off on a phone: Scroll sideways on small screens. Turn the phone to landscape for a better view.
- Mass differs from my textbook: books round atomic masses differently (Cl 35.5 vs 35.45).
Questions people ask
- What do the colours mean? Each colour is an element type: alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, transition metals, metalloids, non-metals, halogens, noble gases, lanthanides and actinides.
- What is the block? s, p, d or f: which orbital the outer electrons fill; it explains the table’s shape.
Example
Search 26: iron (Fe), a transition metal in period 4, group 8, mass about 55.85, solid at room temperature. Its symbol comes from the Latin “ferrum”.
