What is it?
The Colour Picker from Image finds the exact colour of a logo, product photo, painting or screenshot. Tap or drag on the picture to get HEX, RGB, HSL and CMYK, and see the Main colours in this picture.
Who is it for?
Designers matching brand colours, Blogger theme editors, sellers matching product photos, and anyone who wants the exact shade from an image.
How to use it
- Choose a picture, or paste a screenshot.
- Tap or drag on the picture to pick colours. On computers, 🎯 Pick from anywhere on screen works too.
- Copy a code, or Copy palette; Recent picks are kept.
Tip
Zoom in on flat areas of a logo, not edges, where colours blend. Check text contrast with the Color Converter & Contrast Checker.
Everything happens in your browser; nothing you type or choose is uploaded.
Errors and how to fix them
- “This image could not be opened. Try a JPG, PNG or WebP”
- Colour slightly different from the brand: photos change colours with light and compression; use the logo file or a screenshot.
- Pick from anywhere not available: it needs a recent Chrome or Edge on a computer.
Questions people ask
- Can I pick from a website? Take a screenshot and paste it, or use Pick from anywhere on screen in Chrome or Edge.
- What is CMYK for? Printing; screens use RGB.
