What is it?
The Big Full-Screen Clock and Timer shows a huge clock, countdown timer or stopwatch that a whole room can read. Use it in exams, classrooms, gyms, speeches and meetings.
Who is it for?
Teachers and exam invigilators, trainers and gym coaches, event hosts and speakers, and meeting organisers using a projector or TV.
How to use it
- Choose clock, timer or stopwatch.
- For a timer, type the Timer length (minutes, or h:mm:ss); tap Start. Reset or Lap as needed.
- Tap Full screen.
Tip for exams
Show the countdown on a projector and announce when 30 and 10 minutes remain. Time is up! appears at the end; test the sound before the exam.
Errors and how to fix them
- “Write the time like 5, 1:30 or 1:00:00”
- “Set a time longer than zero”
- “Full screen is not allowed here” or “This browser has no full screen: turn your phone sideways for bigger digits”
- Screen goes to sleep: increase the screen timeout or keep the device on charge.
Questions people ask
- Can I show seconds? Yes, the clock and timer show seconds.
- Does the screen stay on? Keep the device on charge and increase the screen timeout.
Practical tip
For speeches and debates, set the timer to each speaker’s limit and keep it visible to them; a big countdown keeps sessions on time without interrupting anyone.
